As it is now, we have two categories of what we offer here at Rent-A-Pilgrim. We are constantly thinking about the expantion of our offer. As a next step we plan to have audiowalks here. With that we mean guided tours through churches and cities. Something like a digital pilgrims guide, that you can easily download from our website to your MP3-Player. That way you can comfortably walk your pilgrimage and as you come up to a church, you can visit that church with our guided tour. If you can't visit the church by yourself, we can then probably offer you a presentation with that guided tour.
Today we have the following two offers to make:
Charity Walk
With the offer in this category all the donated money will go to the church in Rothenburg to renovate the church St James. Rent-A-Pilgrim will get NO fee or commision. All money collected in this category will go to the predetermined purpose.
The group of pilgrims devote their pilgrimage the donator and a charitable cause. You will get a medieval styled certificate that will inform you about the progress of the donations and the devotion of the part of the pilgrimage you where donating for as soon as your money is on our account. The made pictures of the pilgrimage as well as a description of the traveled way will be made accessible to you soon after the pilgrims have returned from their pilgrimage.
As Rent-A-Pilgrim acts as a donation collector we also will see to that you get a contribution receipt for your paid donation from the church St James in Rothenburg. We hope that you can use this contribution receipt for your annual tax declaration also outside of Germany, but we are not sure yet. The contribution receipt will be issued with a donation equal to or greater than 10 Euro.
